Cultural Heritage

We design provisional interventions and make evaluation of seismic risk mitigations of Cultural Heritages, ensuring the engineering aspects of the project are sympathetic to the restoration work. Our experience in this field has grown over the years, in part due to the recent earthquakes in Italy. On these occasions, as well as helping the local authorities with completing seismic assessment forms and checking the formalities regarding reconstruction work following the earthquake, we actively contributed to making the affected areas safe and redesigning the buildings hit by the earthquakes.

Buildings of strategic importance

We work on structures and infrastructures of strategic importance during rescue operations (schools, sports facilities, municipal buildings, water infrastructures…), offering services which range from carrying out surveys to planning building work or structural adjustment. These works are disaster prevention measures; in the event of a calamity these buildings play a significant role in the work of the Civil Protection or they are buildings which, should they collapse, would have very negative consequences for the local community.

Ordinary buildings

We design new buildings and check static and seismic loads on ordinary buildings to determine whether they require structural adjustment, even coming up with more out-of-the-ordinary architectural and structural solutions. We also assist our clients during the building stage of the project with site management services and safety coordination.
